For almost half a century, the RCT basic has not only been our bestseller, but also the standard and reference device in laboratories and research institutions around the world. The RCT basic magnetic stirrer stands for reliability, an extremely long service life and the highest safety standards.
The RCT basic is suitable for mixing volumes of up to 20 l (H2O) and reaches a heating plate temperature of up to 310°C. Thanks to the possibility of connecting an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 included in the scope of delivery), the temperature can be measured and monitored directly in the reaction medium.
Thanks to the perfect insulation of the aluminum heating plate, the maintenance-free EC motor and the electronic switching power supply, the RCT basic is characterized by excellent energy efficiency, as well as reduced self-heating of the heating plate during mixing, which contributes to more environmentally friendly laboratory operation.

According to DIN EN 61010-2-010, it meets all safety requirements for laboratory equipment for heating substances and is therefore also suitable for unattended operation.
