The DISPAX-REACTOR® DR-PB 2000 is designed for in-line mixing of fixed quantities of solids and liquids with high demands on dispersion quality. The solid components and the liquid phase are dosed with the required accuracy. With fixed feed volumes or control over the amount of raw material loaded, the finished product can be obtained in just one pass.
DR-PB is equipped with a three-stage dispersing machine, which allows to produce a very fine suspension/dispersion/emulsion even when using coarse raw materials. It is possible to equip the unit with different types of rotor-stator in order to maximally adapt the machine to a particular product.
Typical applications of the DR-PB DISPAX reactor include, for example, the continuous introduction of polymer granules or powders (SBS - Styrene-butadiene-styrene rubbers, EVA - ethylene vinyl acetate) into hot bitumen or the introduction of cereal grains into water.
