The IKA TURBOTRON® RKG-00-Bo ATEX is a powerful, mechanically controlled stirrer with explosion-proof design for laboratories, research facilities and small production facilities. It is designed for use in open or non-pressure vessels for the processing of bulk mixtures in the lower to medium viscosity range. It can be optionally equipped with interchangeable tools such as propeller, turbine, dissolver, centrifugal, paddle or anchor stirrer.
All parts that come into contact with the mixture are made of high-quality stainless steel 316L (DIN 1.4404). Protection against the risk of injury due to the rotating shaft is optionally available.
The RKG-00-Bo ATEX machines are an explosion-proof alternative to the IKA laboratory and pilot machines RW 28 digital and RW 47 digital. The IKA TURBOTRON® RKG-00-Bo mixers supplied to customers in the EU are of course approved for use in Ex zone 1 (2G), temperature class T3 according to ATEX 95.
