PROCESS PILOT
The PROCESS-PILOT is the most flexible and reliable flow dispersing machine for use in research and industrial laboratories. It is designed for mixing liquids and solids, homogenizing, emulsifying, dispersing or wet grinding. The PROCESS-PILOT 2000/04 is suitable for most mixing tasks, especially in the chemical, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for the production of plastics, varnishes and paints. The unique design of the machine allows the use of eight interchangeable modules. The machine can be designed according to the requirements of the customer's process. The most important process parameters - the geometry and peripheral speed of the dispersing tool, as well as the specific power - are identical to those of the IKA 2000 flow machines: UTL, DBI, DR, DRS, CMX, MHD, MK and MKO. The PROCESS-PILOT therefore guarantees reliable scaling of technologies from the development stage to mass production. PROCESS-PILOT allows you to work under pressure/vacuum, as well as at elevated temperatures and with abrasive materials.
The laboratory dispersing machine PROCESS-PILOT 2000/04 differs from the alternative machine LABOR-PILOT 2000/04 in the seal technology used and the possibility of using two additional modules DBI and CMX for introducing dry substances into the liquid.
The basic machine for continuous processing is equipped with a single-stage ULTRA-TURRAX® UTL module. It is best suited for batch processes and is usually integrated into a recirculation system with a working volume. Depending on the number of product passes through the working chamber of the machine, the degree of dispersion can be adjusted, or in other words, both coarse and fine dispersions can be obtained. Compared to a traditional mixer, the processing time is reduced by up to 50%.

An electrical control unit with a touch screen is available as an option, which allows for infinitely variable adjustment of the operating speed of the system. The screen is reliable in operation and easy to use. The necessary process characteristics for scaling, such as the peripheral speed of the dispersing module and energy consumption, as well as the product temperature and motor power, are clearly displayed in figures, as well as process trends. Time-limited actions can be automatically monitored by a timer and completed on time. There is always the option of selecting the menu language, as well as controlling the PROCESS PILOT via a PC with the IKA Labworldsoft 6 software installed, while simultaneously recording the process characteristics.
