I-MAG is a powerful yet compact magnetic stirrer for use in laboratory and production environments.

In combination with the I-MAG SP mounting frames for large tanks, which are available as accessories, up to 300 liters of water can be efficiently mixed. The wired control unit (controller) ensures convenient operation and easy integration, for example, into process engineering systems.

The robust drive unit (protection class IP 64) consists of a high-torque, wear-resistant motor and a magnetic coupling with high-performance neodymium magnets. This allows for efficient mixing of viscous media and mixing in tanks with a greater distance between the installation surface and the agitator (e.g. double-walled containers or tanks with an insulated bottom).

To reliably achieve high speeds even under difficult conditions, the I-MAG has an adjustable start-up speed that prevents the magnetic stirrer from breaking off during the acceleration phase. Process reliability is further enhanced by the integrated magnetic stirrer coupling detection. In the event of a magnetic coupling break-off or failure, the user is notified via the control panel.

The I-MAG controller has a variety of digital and analog interfaces. Equipped in this way, the device can be operated, for example, via a foot switch or control button, or it can be integrated into a network via USB/LAN/WIFI. Using the appropriate software (e.g. labworldsoft® 6), the I-MAG can be integrated into an automated production process.
