The motorized IKA HELISTAND allows you to measure the viscosity of highly viscous samples with a high level of reliability. It slowly and evenly moves the mounted viscometer and its rotating housing up and down in the sample. Highly viscous samples such as creams, pastes, paints and gelatine cause the static viscometer to operate in an empty state. These substances are so viscous that the rotating movements push them to the edge. An air channel is created around the rotating housing, so the torque acting on it is no longer significant. The IKA HELISTAND can prevent this by means of slow up and down movements.

In combination with the included T-spindles, you can obtain meaningful viscosity measurements for non-flowing samples.
